Stage Technology Workshop
Presentation of the Latest Theater Technologies
At the end of March, we organized a stage technology workshop at the prestigious Estates Theatre in Prague. This event provided a unique opportunity to explore the world of modern stage and theater technologies.
We organized the workshop in collaboration with our German partner, Ventum-S, a leading manufacturer of unique stage components. Participants had the opportunity to explore the revolving stage, programmable trolley, and modular stage elements, which significantly simplify and enhance the work of scenographers and stage technicians.
Revolving Stage – A Flexible Solution for Dynamic Scene Changes
A revolving stage is a circular platform that enables smooth and rapid scene changes through rotation. It is widely used in large theaters, musical productions, and exhibitions where dynamic stage transformations are needed. The turntable can be operated manually or fully automated, offering quiet and seamless operation without affecting the acoustics of the performance.
Thanks to its variable dimensions and load capacity, it can be adapted to different productions and synchronized with other stage mechanisms. It is particularly useful for quick scene transitions, dramatic visual effects, and effortless movement of stage props without manual handling.
Programmable Trolley – A Modern Moving System for Precise Scene Element Positioning
The programmable trolley from Ventum-S is designed for automatic and precise movement of scenic elements, props, and even actors on stage. It can be operated manually or programmed to follow specific trajectories, ensuring high-precision motion.
The system guarantees silent and smooth operation, while its modular design allows multiple trolleys to be combined for complex stage transformations. Safety sensors prevent collisions, making it ideal for moving large stage sets, coordinating multiple moving elements, and automating prop transitions during performances.
Modular Stage System
Multi-purpose modular stage elements offer flexible stage configurations, thanks to easily combinable components that can be quickly modified, expanded, or adjusted. The system allows fast assembly and disassembly without the need for special tools.
