Château Gbeľany, building of the year 2015
There are dozens of historic buildings in Slovakia that were its pride in the past. Today, unfortunately, it is different. In the Slovak towns and villages we can see a huge number of chateaux, which have a rich past but an uncertain future.
Until recently, a similar case was the 250 year chateau in Gbeľany in northern Slovakia.
Story
In the beginning there was an idea and a desire to bring life into the crumbling chateau. Two years later, the Janíčkovci, who undertook the reconstruction, received an award – Building of the year 2015.
“I felt obliged to put it in good condition. For my family, for everyone else. It is important that the chateau continues to live, ”explains Peter Janíček.
After almost two years of reconstruction, nowadays a representative looking Chateau Gbeľany hosts visitors from Slovakia as well as from all over the world.
It was not easy to reconstruct a dilapidated manor house, because strict criteria of the monuments had to be respected in order to preserve the historical character of the building.
On the facades of the chateau are several hours – reconstructed originally historical, wall, sunny and digital. All these clocks symbolize the combination of history and modern technologies that create a symbiosis in the chateau.
Realization
When it comes to modern technologies, MediaTech Central Europe comes to ensure complete sound reinforcement of all areas. The most important part was the conference premises. Conference rooms of the hotel Gbeľany are designed so that the space acts as one unit, which can be divided into two separate conference rooms with different capacity. In a larger room, two screens and two projectors were installed. In a smaller room, one screen, one projector and two preview monitors were installed, giving full-fledged images to participants sitting farther away.
The central matrix located in the central engine room and all inputs and outputs are distributed via the DigitalMedia DM-TX-201-C transmitter from the floor boxes where it was possible to connect RGM, HDMI and LAN devices.
